This oil is refreshing for the mind and sharpens concentration, which is why it is preferred in air fresheners for workshops and banks. It is believed to help with rheumatism, arthritis and gout. It has been used to cure skin problems such as abscesses, foruncles, carbuncles and acne. It increases the immune system and cleanses the body. When used in a lemon oil burner (a few drops in water), the vapors of lemon oil are used for colds, laryngitis, headache and flu. Reading the aroma is useful for mental hypo like depression, irritation, stress, lethargy and fatigue. Lift your spirits and clear your mind. When you add a few drops to the bath or when you mix it with a massage oil, it is said to alleviate digestive problems, lack of energy, tiredness, infections, obesity, rheumatism, depression and stress. It is also used to help eliminate losses. The lemon plant originated in India and perhaps in China, and was betrayed to Europe by the Crusaders in the Middle Ages.
