This essential oil that is citrus-hued but sweet is great for creating a relaxed and happy feeling. Essential bergamot oil is used in aromatherapy to treat depression, stress, tension, low self-confidence, and hysteria. It is useful in curing skin infections such as general herpes, psoriasis, cold sores and eczema. Bergamot oil is one of my favorites in aromatherapy and is used in vaporizers, massages and mixed with bath water.
